What is AfterPay?
Similar to lay-by, AfterPay allows you to spread your payments for an Obus item over a period of time. But the difference is: you can have your item straight away!
How do I pay for my item using AfterPay?
Payments for your item will be taken from your nominated payment method in four equal payments, deducted fortnightly by AfterPay for eight weeks.
How do I use AfterPay?
Create an AfterPay account and then download the AfterPay app onto your smartphone or tablet.
In the app, set up your contact and payment details.
When you are ready to pay for your item instore, navigate in the app to ‘my in-store barcode’. Obus store staff will need this barcode to process your purchase.
Shop as normal in our online store, and at checkout, select AfterPay as the payment method.
First-time shoppers provide payment details as usual, returning shoppers simply log in to make their purchase.
After you check out, your order will be processed by Obus and your goods shipped to you.
Are there any additional fees or charges to use AfterPay?
No, the cost of your item is the same as the price you see instore or online. However, AfterPay may charge late fees if your scheduled payments are unsuccessfully processed.
Can I return or exchange an Obus item if I have purchased it using AfterPay?
Yes, if your item falls within the 14-day returns period and is in keeping with our standard returns policy.
