A Night to Remember

Last month the OBUS shop transformed into a studio of colour and imagination for our very first in-store creative workshop. Together with celebrated Melbourne artist Minna Gilligan, we gathered our community for an evening of collage, conversation and creativity.

The result? A sold-out event filled with laughter, bold cut-outs, and plenty of OBUS spirit.

The best part of the night wasn’t just the art, it was the feeling in the room. To see our community gathered together, scissors snipping, colours flying, and imaginations running free was something truly special. There was a buzz of creativity in the air, conversations flowing, laughter bubbling, and a collective joy in making something with our hands.

“I loved absolutely everything about the evening… Minna was a super artist host, guiding us through her process and it was so lovely to have her involvement and positive affirmations throughout the evening. What’s Next?

This was our first of many creative workshops to come.  From comedy nights to book launches, mending workshops and more, we’re dreaming up fresh ways to bring OBUS lovers together.
